The Lumia 638 4G is an obvious nod to Nokia's Asian fans, but it packs several specs that might not leave its target audience satisfied. Its apparent lack of a front-facing camera is a major disappointment, considering the recent selfie trend. Heck, its lone 5-megapixel camera is not even that impressive for a 2014 release.
But so much for the cons. The 638 4G's Enterprise-class security features and up-to-128GB top-up support are a couple of hidden gems. Microsoft's Live Tile home screen also separates it from a good number of Android competitors.
Despite its substandard imaging, the 638 4G's pros might still make it a decent low-budget Lumia.
