Nokia Lumia 830 Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Nokia Lumia 830, by Nokia

The Nokia Lumia 830 might look, and may even feel like a premium Lumia model (the 930, maybe?), but we are not ready to call it a flagship just yet. That said, we like the idea of bringing a PureView camera (10-megapixel) to a cheaper price point, though a few blows to performance were needed. The quad-core processor, 16GB native storage and 1GB RAM remain pretty decent, however. Its 128GB memory expansion cap also sets it up for lots of multimedia action. This 5-inch model could have done better than a 720p screen and a 2200mAh battery though. Nokia might have passed on a premium release for the 2014 IFA, but we could be looking at a favorable mid- to high-end alternative in this Lumia 830.
