Oppo F1 Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Oppo F1, by Oppo

- Analysis by KJ David

Sharing its name with the popular F1 racing competition, Oppo's F1 runs on a relatively speedy 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM , though we caught a couple of cons that potentially slow it down. These include its 1280 x 720 (HD) screen resolution , because a Full HD display makes more sense for an Android rocking a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 panel and its 2500mAh battery capacity is also quite low, relative to its CPU.

That being said, the Oppo F1 pays close attention to selfies, rocking an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter with Beautify 3.0 and a screen flash function . Its main camera, which comes with 13 megapixels , is not half bad either. Wrapping up its pros and cons is a metal alloy casing , doing away with the plastic shells of most lower-specked models.

So, at the end of the race, the F1 more than passes mid-range standards for us, despite coming with some slightly-flawed specifications.
