with its Snapdragon 652 eight-core CPU (the plain R9 rocks a 2GHz Helio P10 engine), the 6-inch Oppo R9 Plus makes up for this con with a 4120mAh VOOC Flash Charge battery 
, a 4GB RAM , and Adreno 510 graphics .
Given its phablet-class 6-inch display, though, it settles for a mere 367ppi and a Full HD resolution -- an at-least-400ppi pixel density and a Quad HD definition would sound more fitting for a flagship device. That said, it has an up-to-128GB internal memory expandable by up 128GB, which is twice its sibling's native storage capacity of 64GB.
The aforementioned pros and cons aside, the R9 Plus's most-significant specs come in the form of a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 6P-lens 4K-video main camera and an even-more-impressive 16-megapixel selfie cam up front. It also offers a zirconium-gem fingerprint reader as well as the combination of VoLTE and HD voice for its in-call audio.
To rehash, this 6-inch variant of Oppo's iPhone-inspired 2016 flagship is not perfect, but it definitely passes as a premium Android.
