Palm Pre Pros And Cons Review

DirecTags:  Palm Pre specs

Here is a Palm Pre review of the pros and cons. It is based on the technical specifications we have on file for the Palm Pre and it is not the same as a live hands-on review. It is an automated technique to evaluate the Palm Pre and its cons and pros to guide you in your purchase decision.

Palm Pre Pros:

  1. Talk Time: The talk time (320 minutes) is excellent!
  2. Stand-by Time: A stand-by time of 320 hours is very good!
  3. Phone Book: It can store a variable number of phone book entries. This is generally the case of phones with a dynamic memory and, it generally allows for a lot of phone numbers to be stored.
  4. Speakerphone: It has a speakerphone, which can prove useful in a car or in other situations.
  5. Full Keyboard: It features a built-in small keyboard. It helps not just when typing text but also when browsing the wireless Internet and adding new phone book contacts.
  6. Streaming TV: Streaming Video or TV. Streaming TV, provided your carrier offers it, allows you to watch real live TV on your cell phone. It involves additional fees but it might help killing time when you are stuck at the airport, the dentist's waiting room or in many other situations.
  7. Wireless Data System: Bluetooth-enabled, which is an interesting plus. Bluetooth is not really necessary but may be handy if you want to use a wireless headset or transfer data to or from your (Bluetooth-enabled) laptop, for instance.
  8. Stereo Bluetooth: It supports stereo Bluetooth (A2DP). Convenient for music listeners, or even just to be more completely immersed in a conversation.
  9. Camera: It has an above average camera: 3.2-megapixel

Cons:

  1. Weight: A weight of 4.76 ounces is slightly above average. You may find that phone a bit bulky. However, extra weight may not be a problem for women who carry their cell phone in their purse.
