The Plum Boot's sequel apparently wears similar-sized boots, still suffering from a mere 600mAh battery capacity (a lot of other basic clamshells score at least 1000mAh in this attribute) and a tiny 1.77-inch TFT 120 x 160 display . Its specs list also includes cons like a 128MB memory , as this is one of the lowest storage capacities the 2015 basic phone market has to offer, though the Boot 2 does try (and partly succeeds) to reassure us with a 32GB microSD card slot .
We also found additional pros (though only slight ones) in the form of its dual-SIM capacity and the four available colors , which include Red and Blue, but we think you should note that there is no external screen for notifications and clock display , yet a feat achieved by so many other flip phones. The weight, at 82 grams, is light-enough for comfort and we found the 1.3-megapixel camera to be light too, of course, but still decent for a classic clamshell (considering that some models still commit the sin of including just a VGA).
As we try to sum it up, though, and no matter how much we flip its specs, the Plum Boot 2's overall mix of pros and cons makes it a mediocre 2015 flip phone.
