Plum Polka Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Apart form its relatively eye-catching polka dot design and preloaded social networking apps (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), the Plum Polka offers an everyday bundle of pros and cons -- in the basic flip phone market.

Its cons include a basic 1.3-megapixel camera , which, though better than an ancient VGA cam, shies of the 3- and 5-megapixel shooters sported by several of its competitors. We also did not find any indication of its battery capacity at the time of writing. That being said, we found an appreciable pro in the form of its up-to-32GB microSD card slot , since most other basic clamshell models only support 8GB or 16GB of external memory. Among its remaining specs are a standard MP3/FM player, Bluetooth, and a 2.4-inch screen.

In a nutshell, the Polka is a typical flip phone dressed up in an artsy finish.
