Samsung Ativ S Neo Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Samsung Ativ S Neo, by Samsung

Trumpeting standard Windows Phone 8 features like Office Mobile, Live Tiles, and People Hub, Samsung seems determined to present the Ativ S Neo as a trusty office sidekick that knows how to have fun. And while the S Neo's 1.4GHz dual-core processor (slightly slower than the Ativ S's 1.5GHz) and 8-megapixel camera do not deserve any superlatives, they do seem sufficient. It also comes with ATIV Beam, which facilitates sharing with other NFC-capable devices. However, its 4.8-inch TFT display with 296 ppi is less crisp than the Ativ S's HD Super AMOLED one that had 306.22 pixel density, and its 2000mAh battery is less powerful than the Ativ S's 2300 mAh battery. Both have a decent 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage memory. So can the Ativ S Neo balance work and play? It appears so. But the jury is still out on how well it can do it.
