Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

A big brother to Samsung's Galaxy A3 and A5 (2016) models, this 5.5-incher's bag of pros and cons include a 3GB RAM , a 1.6GHz octa-core processor , and a 3300mAh battery . Also, while the A7 does not upgrade the A5's video capture capability to 4K nor its screen resolution to 2K (both had been popular among upscale models as of its release), it retains the 13-megapixel OIS f/1.9 main camera and the Samsung Pay app , which works with both MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) and NFC (Near Field Communication) technologies and is furbished with fingerprint verification . This model reels in 4G LTE (Cat 6) speeds and comes with a 16GB inbuilt memory , just like the A5, though.

Verdict: Samsung might have planned this model to be a 5.5-inch alternative to the A5 (5.2-inch), instead of taking its feature set an entire level higher.
