Samsung Galaxy Core Plus Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Core Plus, by Samsung

Either the people at Samsung's smartphone-naming department decided to play a practical joke, or the word plus has a lesser-known (opposite) meaning, because we are finding it hard to see the additions to the Galaxy Core Plus specs. If anything, there are subtractions - 242MB and 4GB, to be exact (the first Galaxy Core has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of memory, respectively). Fortunately, the other specs are retained (dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera, and 1800mAh battery) and the Core Plus comes with the slightly more recent Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also has the S Beam app that uses NFC technology to transfer files and the Motion UI feature that uses hand movements to perform certain tasks. Perhaps the plus is referring to these two extras?

** This phone is also known as: Samsung SM-G350, Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 or Samsung SM-G3502 (dual SIM version for China)
