Samsung Galaxy Folder Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Folder, by Samsung

- Analysis by KJ David

Expanding the pretty rare breed of flip phones with smartphone-esque pros and cons, the Galaxy Folder is a folding phone running on Android 5.1 Lollipop , with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and a 1.5GB RAM on board as well. It offers both a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen and a classic alphanumeric keypad , giving users a choice between the two input types. Like most smartphones, it sports dual cameras, which respectively come with 8- and 2-megapixel sensors -- neither comes with an LED flash , though. Bluetooth v4.1 and LTE connectivity are in the package, too, but we would have loved to see more than 1800mAh of battery power.

Samsung's Galaxy Folder might not come with overly-sophisticated specs, but it does tell us that the smart flip phone business is not willing to fold any time soon.
