- Analysis by KJ David

The 5.2-inch Galaxy Grand Max has the makings of a typical mid-range Android, though it appears to pack a rather common mix of pros and cons, too.

Its drawbacks include an HD display , which, despite being satisfactory for a middle class Android, shies of the 1080p Full HD screens on many comparable models. Its 1.2GHz quad-core processor is also rapidly dwindling down to entry-level benchmarks. Its pros apparently lie on imaging, as it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera paired with a 120-degree 5-megapixel lens up front.

Summing up, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime trades off hardware for high-end imaging, possibly attracting decent niche.
