This Prime edition of Samsung's Galaxy J2 disappoints us by rocking a qHD (960 x 540) 5-inch screen and a so-so 8GB internal memory , but it does try to make up for those cons through several refreshing pros.

For instance, it delivers Samsung's PLS (plane line switching) display architecture , which they say comes with better viewing angles and overall brightness levels versus the more-conventional IPS (in-plane switching) type. Additionally, its unimpressive internal memory is aided by a whopping up-to-256GB microSD allowance . Its bag of pros and cons also contains a non-slip back pattern , a 1.4GHz quad-core processor (Many similar chips run at 1.2GHz/1.3GHz only), and a 5-megapixel selfie cam with an LED-flash . Lastly, its 2600mAh battery capacity , though not very ambitious, promises above-average audio playback (59 hours) and 4G browsing (12 hours) periods .

In the end, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime ends up as a mass-tier Android with some noteworthy specs up its sleeves.
