Samsung Galaxy J3 Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

With cons like an elementary 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and a 1.5GB RAM that could have been bumped up to 2GB, the LTE-ready Galaxy J3 is shaping up to be a mildly-specked 5-inch HD Super AMOLED Samsung phone.

Its pros are led by the brand's Smart Manager toolkit , aimed at assisting users with system management, power monitoring, and virus/malware prevention. It also has an appreciable 2600mAh battery alongside a mid-tier pair of 8- and 5-megapixel cameras (Full HD maximum video capacity). The J3's 8GB internal memory is no surprise, but it does sound more interesting with a relatively generous 128GB microSD card slot .

This J-series member might not be a very bright addition to Samsung's Galaxy, but it's certainly not among the dullest.
