Apart from its large 5.8-inch screen, this Android phablet sports many other entertainment tools, such as the group-sharing technology Group Play and Samsung Link, which allows you to link the phablet to a large screen (TV, tablet, or computer). Its maximum storage capacity of 72GB (8GB internal and 64GB MicroSD) is also noteworthy. That said, we could think of some upgrades that could have enhanced this device even further, such as 4G technology and perhaps a faster CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 can record HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) movies. Awesome! But we couldn't determine whether it had an HDMI port or not. Granted, HDMI (which lets you connect to your HDTV), is not an absolute necessity, but it seems like a desirable feature on an HD phone.

It features lots of user memory (8000MB), but it may sometimes be better to buy a phone with an included memory card instead, since the memory card can then be reused in a future cell phone.
