Samsung Galaxy On8 Review of Pros And Cons

The 2016 Galaxy On8 is shaping up to be an all-around 5.5-inch high-ender, judging from its list of pros and cons, which is headlined by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor as well as 3GB of RAM .

It still has its setbacks, though, one of which is its lack of a 4K video-recording resolution , which would have made its 13-megapixel f/1.9 CMOS rear camera way-more-attractive. Its 16GB internal memory sounds like a con as well, considering that many models running on similar hardware pack at least 32GB of storage in comparison, though its up-to-128GB memory card support definitely helps.

As for the rest of its pros, the Galaxy On8 scores a desirably-low 0.216 SAR rating and sports a 5-megapixel f/1.9 selfie camera with gesture support and its own LED flash up front. Rounding out its specs are a 3300mAh battery with Samsung's Ultra Power Saving Mode and an all-metal housing .

So, for those looking for a phone with promising hardware and can live without 4K imaging, the Samsung Galaxy On8 could turn on the green light.
