Samsung Galaxy Ring Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, by Samsung

While the Galaxy Ring is certainly not the alpha in the Samsung Galaxy circle, it does boast some respectable specs for a smartphone designed for the prepaid market - like the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean that features the TouchWiz user interface, a 1.4GHz processor that has one core but still stands out in a sea of processors with 1GHz or less, a relatively sharp 4-inch 800 x 480 233ppi TFT screen, and a 5-megapixel camera that can shoot HD videos. Its 1GB RAM rules a mostly 512MB roost and its 1750mAh battery has a standby time of 490 hours or 20 days. Considering that it does not claim to be very high on the smartphone ladder, the Galaxy Ring is certainly at least among the higher rungs of the entry-level subset.
