Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Star 2, by Samsung

Samsung seems to like time-traveling... backwards, as the Galaxy Star 2 blatantly runs some nearly-extinct features. Its chances at a window shelf look bleak with a 3.5-inch HVGA display and 512MB RAM. A 2-megapixel rear camera? Seriously? Give it a few more bucks and youll find it up front, with a much higher-res cam at the back. Even though it runs on the Android KitKat OS, a single-core 1GHz processor might not run it as smoothly as other entry-level models do -- it just looks too underpowered to us. Perhaps the TouchWiz UI is the only plus, as it simplifies things for first time smartphone users - which is probably the target market of this phone anyway.
