Samsung Galaxy V Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy V, by Samsung

- Analysis by KJ David

Samsung might have not given much thought to the 2014 Galaxy V model, as this 4-inch Android barely makes the cut for an entry-level smartphone. We were quite disappointed with its single-core processor (1.2GHz), considering that many others in this class run on dual- and quad-core engines. Its pair of 3-megapixel and VGA cameras is also quite a deal breaker. But at least, they put both video and photo buttons on the same screen, a feature we are not gonna call our mom about. All its other specs, including the TouchWiz Essence UX interface also seem to add to its simplicity -- which might be a selling point for first time smartphone users. The Galaxy V does not pack much, but it might not cost much anyway.
