Samsung's summer 2014 release, the Z, comes out as the first smartphone to introduce the Tizen operating system developed on a Linux base. While little is known about this OS, the 150/50Mbps data speed might be Samsung's hint as to how performance-oriented the platform is... especially that it also a four-core 2.3GHz processor a fit. With a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, perhaps it could have done better in the imaging department, or does Samsung have more in store for the next Tizen phone? Arty users might not like the phone's boxy design, but should it deliver speed and performance as promised, you won't be running over to the store for its looks.
