Several of Sony's signature pros, including xLoud Experience, Clear Audio+, and STAMINA mode , make their way to budget Android shelves through the Xperia E4, though its cons suggest an apparent tradeoff in terms of hardware.
This 5-inch model sports 5- and 2-megapixel cameras , which by 2015 standards are not very impressive for entry-level models. It also lacks LTE support , a technology adapted by many similarly-specked releases late in 2014. That said, the E4's display size (5 inches) and processor (1.3GHz, quad-core) still manage to outstrip those of its predecessors, making it a passable update to Sony's low-key Xperia sub-series.
