While several other brands fail at keeping flagship qualities onto their mini variants, Sony's Z3 Compact (Compact is Sony's branding for Mini models) seems to retain some valuable features - despite the smaller 4.6-inch display. For instance, it sports the same 20.7-megapixel rear camera and TRILUMINOS screen. Its hardware also nods to other high-end models, running on a 2.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM, with an Adreno 330 GPU to boot. It also comes with PS4 Remote Play, a major selling point of the Z3 flagship. With the same waterproofing standards wrapping it up, the Xperia Z3 Compact might have raised the bar for future mini models.
