Wileyfox's 5-inch Swift speeds to the mass-tier smartphone market with some substantial pros, but we swiftly spotted a couple of cons as well.
Slowing it down is a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU , which was more prevalent among lower-specked devices at the time of its release, though its 64-bit architecture makes it a tad forgivable. It also does not go beyond a 32GB microSD allowance , despite having a middle-class 16GB on-board storage.
As for its pros, the Wileyfox Swift's moderate (as of 2015 Q3) 5-inch HD screen comes with a Gorilla Glass 3 layer , while the open-source Cyanogen 12.1 platform gives it a bit of distinction from most of its competitors. Its specs also include a 13-megapixel camera with a dual flash setup and a BSI sensor for low-light shooting. This, along with the rest of its pros and cons, possibly bless the Wileyfox Swift with a decent run in the budget Android contest.
