The 5-inch Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro is a spin-off model of the January 2016 Redmi 3 rigged with 1GB more RAM, for a total of 3GB , and a 32GB internal memory (The older version only has 16GB of inbuilt storage).

That being said, it suffers from the same cons as well, including a lack of 4K imaging and an HD 1280 x 720 screen resolution , the latter being quite sub-par for a phone running on a 1.5GHz + 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor .

Fortunately, the Redmi 3 Pro also brought back the reassuring 4100mAh power cap alongside specs like a 13-megapixel BSI-sensor main camera and the MIUI 7 Android overlay. In addition, it comes with dual 4G SIM card trays, a 5-megapixel selfie cam, and USB-OTG support , all of which line its array of pros and cons up with those of many other high-ranking 2016 Android devices.
