Avid smartphone enthusiasts won't likely bat an eye for the ZTE Avid Plus. In fact, its mix of pros and cons is more of a minus compared to many previous Androids from ZTE.
Its specs include an FWVGA (854 x 480) 5-inch TFT screen, a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 CPU with 1GB of RAM , and nothing more than 8GB of native memory (up to 32GB microSD support). It also delivers starter-class imaging via a pair of 5- and 2-megapixel cameras , but at least it captures Full HD 1080p videos , unlike most others in this class, which settle for an HD 720p (or lower) maximum video capture resolution.
The Avid Plus's only apparent pro is its Wi-Fi calling capability , allowing you to access voice service from places without cellular coverage, though we still say that this phone overall is only worth checking out of you're in the entry-level market.
