ZTE Blade V10 Vita Review of The Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

ZTE's Blade V10 Vita is a lower-specked sibling to the V10 whose biggest con comes from the hardware front, particularly, its octa-core two-cluster Unisoc SC9863A engine, which clocks in at only 1.6GHz + 1.2GHz . On comparison, many competing eight-core smartphones found here on Phonerated run on engines that are clocked at no less than 2GHz. Its questionable specs also include a 3GB RAM count (2GB, depending on the model) that was no longer that promising around the time of this technical review.

One of this Blade model's rather sharp features (ergo, pros) is its double-lens main camera , which is infused with AI-powered features like AI bokeh shooting and AI scene recognition. It consists of a 13-megapixel primary lens with autofocus and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus subsidy lens -- see how it stacks up against the best imaging smartphones here. Up front sits an unimpressive 8-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera.

Going over to its display pros and cons, the V10 Vita offers a relatively wide 6.26-inch waterdrop-notch 19:9 screen that does not quite level with those of the market's best large-screen models, seeing that it sticks to a low-class 1520 x 720 HD+ definition only . At the back, it has a typical (as of this write-up) fingerprint scanner.

Powering its forenamed features is a 3200mAh battery, which is really nothing to complain about, taking into account its middling processing components. Also among its pros and cons is either 64GB or 32GB of on-board memory as well as a memory card slot for up to 256GB's worth of top-up storage. Note that a few similarly-specked models support twice as much top-up memory. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it is coated in colors like Black, Purple, and Green.

To rehash, the ZTE Blade V10 Vita is a mid-level wide-screen phone that offers AI photography outside the flagship-class market segment.
