ZTE Blade X3 Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the ZTE Blade X3, by ZTE

- Analysis by KJ David

The 5-inch HD ZTE Blade X3 loses out on the processing and imaging fronts compared to its X5 and X9 siblings, touting only a 1GHz quad-core CPU (1GB RAM) and a pair of 8- and 5-megapixel cameras (the other two sport 13-megapixel main cams). Lastly, it also lacks fingerprint identification found on the other models and, despite an average display size (5-inch), weighs a slightly above-average 160 grams .

That being said, the X3 boasts a 4000mAh battery capacity , which is higher than even the eight-core 5.5-inch Blade X9's 3000mAh power cap. It also offers a dual-SIM (micro) capability and a 4G LTE network reach, just like its brothers , potentially making it a viable alternative for budget Android shoppers who do not need fancy imaging and hardware. Moreover, the X3 dons a Gold case finish , probably to add a relatively chic feel to its heavy-duty, mid-range feature set.
