ZTE Grand X Max Plus Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the ZTE Grand X Max Plus, by ZTE

- Analysis by KJ David

Despite being pitched as an Android that maximizes all specs, this 6-inch Gorilla Glass 3 phablet's 720p HD screen (as opposed to a Full HD or Quad HD resolution) does not live up very well to its sales pitch. The Grand X Max Plus also surprisingly does not come with a mobile hotspot capability , a questionable con for a model that transitioned ZTE's high-end roster from 2014 to 2015.

That said, its 2GB RAM and Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 battery-saving feature accompanying its 3200mAh battery, are some key pros. We are also satisfied with its 13- and 5-megapixel lenses, which are perhaps enough to make it a reasonable upscale contender.
