At first glance, the only thing that seems imposing about the ZTE Imperial is its 5.43-ounce weight, which is higher than the average. A careful check under the hood adds more weight to this observation, for we are met with rather average specs. There is the 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8930 (which may be the jewel in the crown), the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the 5-megapixel main camera that is accompanied by a 1-megapixel video call camera, and the 4-inch 800 x 480 IPS display. Its 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard memory are also average, although its 2500mAh battery can sustain a slightly longer talk time of 720 minutes or 12 hours.
However, while these numbers are probably closer to ordinary than majestic, they are just right for the mid-range phone the ZTE Imperial is.
