ZTE's 2015 Maven is an attempt to seduce budget smartphone mavens (if any), though its rather typical mix of pros and cons might not generate that many aficionados.
This 4.5-inch Android (Lollipop OS) relies on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM -- a rather archetypal hardware set among entry-level models. In addition, we do not like its 0.3-megapixel selfie cam , knowing that the Sonata 2, which was released alongside it, offers a 2-megapixel camera in comparison. The Maven's only clear pros are its LTE Cat 4 connectivity and Dolby Audio .
The ZTE Maven may not likely attract smartphone connoisseurs, but it does sound like a passable introductory handset.
