ZTE Nubia 5 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the ZTE Nubia 5, by ZTE

The unlocked ZTE Nubia 5 has several things going for it: a 5-inch IPS screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 443ppi pixel density, a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU, a 13-megapixel camera with a Konica-Minolta sapphire lens that is listed as scratch-resistant, the built-in Dolby Digital Plus audio technology, a low SAR level of 0.225, and the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system (which may not be the latest, but is still rather decent). It should be noted, however, that its 16GB onboard memory does not seem to be expandable, and it also does not offer LTE support (it is quick to add that its HSPA+ radio gives 4G-like speeds) - but for its suggested retail price of $449 unlocked, we guess some compromises have to be made.
