ZTE Paragon Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the ZTE Paragon, by ZTE

- Analysis by KJ David

Far from being a paragon of entry-level smartphones, the ZTE Paragon does not excel in any department, as made clear by its low-end set of pros and cons.

Its setbacks include a relatively small (by 2015 standards) 4-inch screen , a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera , and a potentially sluggish dual-core 1.2GHz processor . Unlike a few other 2015 budget Androids from ZTE, the Paragon does not reel in 4G LTE connections . Its 5-megapixel back camera and hearing aid compatibility (M3/T4) do little in making up for its cons, but it levels with most other prepaid phones in those regards. ZTE might want to reconsider its name, though, as the Paragon is far from being an exemplary Android.
