Via Bluetooth:
Your INQ Chat 3G is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless protocol which lets you connect your cell phone to other Bluetooth-enabled devices. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply connect both devices and transfer any music file from your computer to your INQ Chat 3G.
Just record sound directly:
Since your INQ Chat 3G sports a sound recorder (also known as "voice memo"), a very straightforward technique involves simply placing your phone near your computer's speakers, playing whatever music or sound you'd like as a ringtone, and recording it -- you can even use your voice, your child's voice or even your cat's "meow!" Record it with your phone and "voilą!" Unless that function was specifically blocked on the INQ Chat 3G, you should be able to navigate to the ringtones menu and assign that recording as a ringtone. Of course, the sound quality may not be ideal but, at least, it's free!
Through a 3G Uploader:
If the above-mentioned techniques fail or if you don't want to buy extra accessories, you can always use one of various free "3G Uploader" services available online. You should find plenty with a simple Katapulco.com search. 3G uploaders are simple to use: Transfer your own ringtones on their web site and they will return a URL. Pointing your INQ Chat 3G's web browser to that address will download the free ringtone.
