Description:
At just 4.85mm, the Oppo R5 beats the iPhone VI in the slimming competition by a 30% margin, making it the world's thinnest smartphone today. But, despite its skinny profile, this aluminum-framed handset packs a solid feature set that should make it a capable upper mid-range contender: 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and high-resolution (13MP and 5MP) cameras. Its 2000 mAh battery is a mid-ranger at best, but with its Rapid Charge feature, the R5 claims to be able to go from 0% to 75% charge in just 30 minutes (we're looking at you, Samsung Galaxy Note IV). However, one downside we find with this device is its lack of storage expansion support for its 16GB on-board memory -- a compromise Oppo was probably forced to make in the name of thinness.
