DOOGEE's 2019 N10 is a camera-focused mid-range smartphone whose biggest cons can be found under the hood. It runs on a not-so-competitive SC9863A processor consisting of a 1.6GHz quad-core main cluster and a secondary quad-core cluster running at only 1.2GHz, -- some of the best eight-core models in town bank on at-least-2GHz engines. Additionally, it comes with only 3GB of RAM , while several similarly-sized 2019 releases pack at least 4GB.

Also among its pros and cons is a 32GB native memory coupled with an up-to-64GB-only external memory allowance that sounds lackluster, particularly when compared to the 256GB or 512GB top-up memory ceilings boasted by a few tantamount Androids listed here on Phonerated.

As for its pros, the DOOGEE N10 mimics a few popular photography-driven smartphones with its 16- plus 13-megapixel double-lens main camera . Also, it touts a 16-megapixel front-facing camera whose raw pixel resolution and 80-degree viewing angle sound just about right, coming from a 2019 middle-class contender.

Although it shies of the best high-stamina models available as of this technical review, the N10's 3360mAh battery sounds tolerable to us, especially since its other hardware components do not sound that demanding. Its charging system promises to replenish up to 2 hours of video playback time after a 20-minute charge.

Joining its mix of specs include 5.84-inch 2.5D-glass 19:9 screen with a tolerable 2280 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and a pixel density score of 428ppi. It touts a metal frame and it dons either Phantom Purple or an Obsidian Black body, with the combination of a rear fingerprint scanner and a facial recognition system in charge of security.

Keeping those pros and cons in mind, the N10 makes for a viable choice for shoppers eying a middle-class model that's heavily inclined to selfies and photography.

On-paper Review score:

First, the Cons:

Ostensibly no HDMI port:

It's all well and good that the DOOGEE N10 can record high-resolution 1920 x 1080 movies, but we were disappointed not to find any evidence of the N10 featuring an HDMI port (which is convenient to watch HD videos on your shiny HDTV.)

Unknown weight:

It's frustrating that we could not find its weight information.

Now, the Pros:

Very large display:

We're dealing with a hefty display here, making it a phablet: 5.8 (actual diagonal size is 5.84 inches) inches and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels means about 13 square inches and an image quality of at least 428 dots per inch (DPI)!

The memory can be expanded up to 64GB:

The DOOGEE N10 is not sold with a memory card but it supports up to 64GB of memory expansion, which is convenient to store photos taken with the built-in 16-megapixel (combined with a 13-megapixel sub-cam) camera.

Very high-resolution camera:

The N10 is has an exceptional 16-megapixel (combined with a 13-megapixel sub-cam) camera. It also has these features: Night Shot.

High-end front cam:

The 16-megapixel selfie cam offers an above-average resolution.
