LG X view Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG X view, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

The X view is an LG Android that reintroduces the V10's always-on second screen (1.76-inch, 520 x 80 pixels), allowing to you view an arrangement of personally-set apps or notifications without having to wake its 4.93-inch HD-only main screen (Full HD would have made for a pro). That said, it bedecks the said technology with mid-level specs this time, instead of the V10's premium features.

It runs on a low-key 1.2GHz quad-core processor aided by 2GB of RAM, with a near-average (as of its release) 2300mAh battery on power duties. It also only comes with 16GB of on-board storage , but the up-to-2TB memory card support sounds more than enough to make up for this con.

As for imaging, the X view is armed with 13- and 8-megapixel cameras, the front one equipped with a virtual flash function . It is also fitted with front-and-back glass fiber layers , with either a Black, a White, or a Pink Gold finish tying all its pros and cons together.

Our conclusion: The LG X view may not be a full-fledged high-ender just yet, but its second screen and microSD allowance should make for solid selling points for this mid-level Android.
