A basic unlocked Android smartphone in almost all aspects, the SLIDE SP4513's pros and cons include a primitive 4.5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA IPS display 
and the questionable absence of a 4G LTE network adapter that obviously makes it sound sluggish compared to the newest 4G phones on the market when it comes to web connectivity.
Its disgruntling specs also include a paltry 512MB RAM that at least accompanies a MediaTek-branded 1.3GHz quad-core processor 
, which we consider a consoling pro, knowing that some of its entry-level rivals settle for dual-core-only processors. By the same token, the SP4513's 8GB internal memory , which can be extended by up to 32GB, sounds appreciable as well, since many tantamount models found here at Phonerated stick to 4GB-only storage memories.
Regrettably, the aforementioned hardware components are powered by a meager 1400mAh-only battery that sounds quite problematic, given this model's dual SIM card slots . In contrast, some of the best unlocked dual-SIM phones around don't go for anything lower than 2000mAh of raw battery power.
Heading over to imaging, the SP4513 is unlikely to turn heads with its humdrum 5-megapixel primary camera (It comes with a standard LED flash), although photography is not exactly a priority for phones within its price group -- it was pegged at under 50 dollars as we were reviewing its technical pros and cons. The same can be said of its selfie capabilities, since it sports an outmoded 2-megapixel selfie camera right above its equally-sub-standard display.
This SLIDE smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop platform out of the box, though we wish that it mimicked its low-end rivals in this list of popular Android Go Edition smartphones in terms of operating system, seeing that Android Go is designed for phones with its kind of low-caliber components. It is offered in Red, Blue, and Black and its in-the-box accessories include a protective case and a microfiber cloth .
So, though it's far from the best low-end smartphone out there, the SLIDE SP4513 makes for a feasible choice for users eying a simple two-SIM unlocked smartphone.
