The Ulefone Power 5S is a heavyweight literally and figuratively, combining a monstrous battery with a cumbersome 330-gram body that makes it more than 100 percent heavier than the average smartphone as we were reviewing its pros and cons.

Also among its cons is a 2GHz eight-core processor , if only because some of the leading eight-core smartphones on the market do not go for anything slower than 2.6GHz. Additionally, it sticks to a 4GB RAM count , despite its Power 5 mother model packing 6GB on that front.

As for its pros, this Power edition bullies many of its high-endurance rivals with its 13000mAh battery capacity , one of the highest power caps available as of this specs-driven Phonerated evaluation. It promises a 1100-hour standby time (roughly 46 days) and a 52-hour talk time , both of which easily outstripped the corresponding average values when this model entered the market. Joining the mix are its 5V/5A wired Super Fast Charge technology and 10W wireless charging system.

Also making it sound more promising versus a several other semi-high-end contenders is the Power 5S's 21- plus 5-megapixel dual-flash primary camera . Up front, it touts a dual-lens selfie cam consisting of an 8-megapixel primary lens interpolated to 13 megapixels and a 5-megapixel deputy lens -- don't forget to check out our list of the best selfie phones here.

Display-wise, this 2019 Ulefone release offers a respectable 6-inch 18:9 screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 and a pixel density score of 404ppi. Matching its screen is the combination of a metal frame and a leather backing , while a 64GB memory extendable by up to 256GB takes charge of the storage front.

With the combo of a fingerprint sensor and a Face ID function rounding out its pros and cons, the Android-8.1-Oreo-running Power 5S calls out to power-hungry users in search of a relatively-stylish, high-stamina Android phone that also flexes some upscale muscles in terms of photography.

On-paper Review rating:

First, the Cons:

Unknown weight:

It's disappointing that we could not find its weight information.

Now, the Pros:

Faster processor:

Its 2GHz processor speed running on 8 cores is part of the fastest in recent phones.

Very large display:

We're dealing with a hefty display here, making it a phablet: 6 inches and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels means about 14.39 square inches and an image quality of at least 404 dots per inch (DPI)!

Outstanding camera:

The Power 5S is one of the rare phones to feature a 21-megapixel (combined with a 5-megapixel sub-cam) camera. It also sports these features: Auto-HDR.

Spectacular talk time:

If Ulefone's claim is accurate, the Power 5S and its (13000mAh) battery will provide 3120 minutes of conversation, a lot of talk time!

Decent-resolution selfie cam:

The selfie cam resolution seems just about average.

In the box:

It includes these accessories: OTG cable, Micro USB to Type-C adapter, Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. It might be convenient.
