Description:
Although handy in both size and price, the Motorola Droid Mini still offers some not-so-mini features: It carries a 10-megapixel Quick Capture camera, uses DuPont Kevlar in its body and Corning Gorilla Glass for its screen. It puts more focus on voice control with what Motorola calls its Touchless Control app. The 1.7GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU, 2GB of RAM, NFC capability, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean should also provide decent performance, despite its mid-range 4.3-inch LCD screen -- probably the reason for its Mini name. There is no talk time rating per se, but Motorola mentions a general 28 hours of usage time. By the way, it uses Motorola's X8 8-core control system for graphic performance and to save battery time, among other things.
It also has the usual gyroscope, proximity sensors etc, but it is one of the rare smartphones that also include a barometer.
Also called Verizon Droid Mini.
