Alcatel 1060 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Alcatel 1060, by Alcatel

Imagine a phone so advanced it also works as a heart rate monitor or a remote control. Now imagine the opposite of that and you get the Alcatel 1060. Okay, that is not completely fair - after all, it does have a 0.3-megapixel camera that takes videos at 25 frames per second and it can also play music. But the rest of the features of this 2.27-ounce handset are firmly entry-level: a 312MHz processor, a 1.8-inch 160 x 128 TFT screen, a 4MB storage memory (of which only 85.5KB is user-available), and a 650mAh battery that can only service 240 minutes or four hours of phone calls (most phones have at least 300 minutes). So no, the 1060 will probably never be featured on Ironman - unless Tony Stark decides to hop on a time machine and visit the first few years of the 21st century.

** This phone is also known as: VM 575, Alcatel 1060D (dual-SIM version)
