Alcatel 2000 Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Alcatel 2000, by Alcatel

Judging by its features (or lack of them), the 3.14-ounce Alcatel 2000 probably wants senior citizens to party like it is 2000 - without all the bells and whistles (not even a camera or internet capability). As expected of a senior-friendly phone, it tries to be as uncomplicated (and practical) as possible, with a comparatively large 2.4-inch 320 x 240 screen that displays big fonts, big keys (according to Alcatel), a noise cancellation system, and dedicated SOS and LED flash light keys. Its 1000mAh battery is slightly bigger (we have seen others with 800mAh) and can sustain 420 minutes or seven hours of phone conversations. However, its end-user memory is a rather small 0.2MB that is expandable to 16GB. But then again, with a phone like this, what else is there to store besides text messages?
