Alcatel Flash 2 Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Alcatel Flash 2, by Alcatel

- Analysis by KJ David

Just like previous Alcatel Flash models (Flash and Flash Plus), the Flash 2 features a high-end pair of cameras: a 13-megapixel Samsung-made 5P-lens rear camera with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 5-megapixel 1.4μ㎡-pixel selfie cam with its own LED flash . These are backed by an octa-core 1.3GHz 64-bit processor (2GB RAM) and a 3000mAh battery , serving as its pros internally. By the way, they report a 25-day stand-by time that seems to match the battery, but what about that music playback time (a rickety 1800 minutes, when the average is above 3000!) and these heartbreaking 300 minutes of video playback (compared to an average above 450)?

On the other hand, its cons include an HD-only (1280 x 720) 5-inch screen -- despite the aforementioned imaging and processing capacity -- as well as the lack of 4K video capture (only Full HD maximum), which would have topped off its high-tier profile more convincingly.
