If there is anything that the Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 is being singled out for, it is the premium look given to it by its brushed metallic finish (and its slim 7.3-mm frame). Which is probably just as well, because its other features - the 5-inch 960 x 540 IPS screen, the 8 megapixel camera, the quad-core 1.3GHz CPU - do not exactly strike us as premium. But to be fair, its high-definition audio sounds like a nice bonus. The 2-megapixel front-facing camera does too, since a lot of additional cameras still suffer from even lower resolution.
