Alcatel One Touch Pop C1 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Alcatel One Touch Pop C1, by Alcatel

We think the littlest member of the rapidly expanding Pop clan by Alcatel is definitely not the littlest basic smartphone there is (even if it has a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 screen, rather a con). And with a dual-core 1GHz processor and a 512MB RAM, it is probably not the slowest, either (we have seen phones that run at 800MHz with one core). We even found a pro in its camera's HDR mode - designed to enhance image quality - enough not to wince at the 2-megapixel resolution, which rather tones down the pop c1's pros and cons mix. Although, with the HDR photos presumably large file sizes, expanding the rather small 2GB user-available memory to 32GB may be a necessity instead of an option.
