A quick look at the Alcatel One Touch Pop C9's spec sheet makes us pop the question (nope, not that one - the other one): which category does it fit into? The 1.3GHz processor with four cores, the 8-megapixel camera with a respectable 2-megapixel front-facing partner, the 5.5-inch screen, and the 2500mAh battery make us prepared to commit, but some aspects make us hesitate to say yes. There is the rather low resolution (960 x 540 with only 200ppi) of the aforementioned display, the small user-available memory (2GB), and the missing LTE capability. We are guessing the Pop C9 - which comes in blended colors like bluish black, slate, and hot pink - is not married to the idea of being confined to one category.
