Alcatel A205G Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the Alcatel A205G, by Alcatel

- Analysis by KJ David

Other than the absence of a low-profile camera (usually VGA of 1.3-megapixel for basic phones), its apparent lack of a microSD card , and a mere 9-hour standby period , the Alcatel A205G's pros and cons seem quite typical for a phone of this caliber.

Its key perks include an M3/T3 hearing aid rating , making it fit for senior users, an inbuilt stereo FM radio, and the preloaded Obigo 05A browser . Its 1.8-inch TFT (262K) display is also just about right for a phone that likely sells for something south of $20 .

Alcatel may not have put much effort into the A205G, but at least it expands their basic candybar family.
