Alcatel OneTouch Flint Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

Not exactly packing enough fiery specs to spark our interest, the Alcatel OneTouch Flint runs on a low-end Snapdragon 210 1.1GHz CPU with 1.5GB of RAM and has an HD-only (720p) resolution on its 5.5-inch display , cons which a lot of techies are likely allergic to. Its 1.46 SAR rating might also be something to watch out for, especially since the average was only roughly 0.75 as of its release. Also, it has a 2-megapixel-only fixed-focus front camera , despite many comparable models rocking 5-megapixel selfie shooters.

That said, the cons mentioned above are tied up with some respectable pros, including a 16GB memory that can be expanded by up to 128GB and an 8-megapixel HD-video camera with integrated Polaroid software for photo-editing . Additionally, it looks to win comparisons against many of its rivals audio-wise by combining the Deezer music streaming software with Alcatel's own OneTouch Mix music-mixing application , while a 2500mAh battery that scores a 1440-minute talk time wraps up its list of pros and cons.

Ultimately, the Flint is a 5.5-inch 4G Android for users who can live with mediocre hardware, but want some extras on the multimedia front.
