Alcatel OneTouch Pixi Eclipse Review of Pros And Cons

The Alcatel Pixi Eclipse's pros and cons won't likely eclipse those of most other 2016-released models, but amidst the specs of other prepaid Androids, they show no significant difference.

Among its cons are a 1.1GHz two-core-only (tons of its rivals operate on four-core chips) processor and the absence of a front-facing secondary camera . Unsurprisingly, it also settles for a 4-inch display and a 2-megapixel-only camera . Lastly, radiation-cautious users may find its 1.45 SAR rating alarming, considering that the average was only around 0.74 as of July 2016. As for the pros, the Eclipse is rated M4/T4 for hearing aid compliance and it supports up-to-32GB microSD cards -- many older prepaid models support 16GB/8GB cards only.

With its sub-$50 price point topping it off, the 3G-only Eclipse wont't likely break the bank , which is a primary consideration for most prepaid Android buyers.
