Alcatel OneTouch Pop Icon 2 LTE Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

The Pop Icon 2 LTE is a 5-inch smartphone with several iconic pros and cons -- at least in the entry-level Android category. Among these are its 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 5-megapixel main sensor . It also sports a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing sub-camera , which is quite mediocre relative to its release date. That said, it does offer 4G LTE connectivity , a must-have among 2015 models. Its 840-hour talk time is comparably longer than the 660-minute average as of its unveiling, too. However, its selling points seem to end there.

It may be a sequel by name, but the Alcatel Pop Icon 2 LTE is virtually no more impressive than its 2014 predecessor.
