A much more ambitious sibling of the Pop 4, the Alcatel Pop 4S boasts a Hi-Fi audio system with an NXP9890 amplifier and a 3.6-Watt maximum power as well as a split-octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz + 1GHz . That said, its specs with at least a couple of cons as well.

Its biggest drawback is a 16GB-only internal memory , since many fully-high-end models pack at least 32GB of storage. Also, it lacks a 4K video mode , despite rocking a 13-megapixel PDAF camera with a dual-tone LED flash . Also on board this 5.5-inch Marshmallow-sporting Android is a fingerprint sensor bundled with the Safebox private storage partition .

On the stamina front, the Pop 4S banks on a 2960mAh battery, which, even though sounds sober capacity-wise, is rather promising because of its 100-minute only Fast Charging . In comparison, lots of its rivals take up to 140 minutes to replenish maximum power capacity. As for selfies, this LTE Cat 6 (300Mbps maximum data rate) model touts a 5-megapixel selfie camera with front flash .

In the end, though the Pop 4S's selection of pros and cons fail on some high-end benchmarks, it is a high-ranking Pop model that caters to music and imaging junkies all the same.
